A Taste of Fall

Mums in the marketplace, shorter days, a nip in the air this morning......these all signal that Fall is on its way. And with the start of Fall it means time to start thinking about sweaters, hats, mittens , socks, and afghans.

Afghans make great portable knitting projects and we have 2 different afghan classes starting in September. Susan will be offering a new session of the ever popular Great American Afghan starting Monday, Spetember 28th. Comprised of 24 different squares, the afghan will help you to build your knitting skills.

For the Aran lover Faye will be teaching the Taste of Aran Afghan starting Tuesday September 8th. The 20 squares in this afghan will help the knitter to master the various Aran stitches so familiar in Aran sweaters.

Both afghans are on display in the shop and either would make a treasured heirloom.

The Fall Class schedule is coming together and will be out soon. with great projects for Fall knitting or Christmas giving.

The days are warm, but the nights are cool... its time to start planning Fall knitting projects.
