What is that golden orb in the sky?

Why - it's the sun! We haven't seen it in so long that it's quite a surprise. It does make us at VYT look toward spring and of course, spring YARNS. Victoria just got back from TNNA in San Diego and she ordered some wonderful new yarns for you to look forward to in a month or so. Kari and I (Joni) are making samples out of a new alpaca-blend sock yarn and another nice alpaca for hats - because you know we're still going to have some winter weather coming...

Janine Bajus' class Choosing Colors for Fair Isle Knitting is filling up fast, so if you're interested in taking it, now's the time to sign up. Ruth Sorensen's steeked shawl class is almost full, but her Fair Isle mitts and bags class still has some room. Sign up today so you don't miss your chance to learn from these popular out-of-the-area instructors. Holly Monek-Anderson has her socks on two circular needles class coming up starting Mon, Feb 2 from 6-8pm and I'll be teaching Entrelac knitting on Wed, Jan 28 and Feb 4 from 6-8pm. Sign up early so we don't have to cancel any of these great classes!

Stop by and have a cup of tea with us and show us your latest project!
